Pakistan's Interior Minister acknowledges Ehsan is in their custody

Pakistan's interior minister Rahman Malek acknowledged before a Norway TV reporter that Ehsan Arjmandi is in the custody of Pakistani authorities. He stated that Mr Arjmandi was carrying a fake Pakistani ID; therefore, it has to be investigated thoroughly before he is released. This acknowledgement came after nearly one year of his arrest while traveling from the East Baluchistan to Pakistani city of Karachi.

Baluch Demonstrate against Target Killings of their Activists

Members of UK Baluch community gathering outside 10 Downing Street London –UK to ask the UK government stop supporting Pakistan which is involved in assassination of liberal Baluch political activists.

The demonstrators chanted slogans against Pakistan and called it a state that was breeding and supporting terrorism.

Amongst the speakers was the NP’s central committee member Aslam Boledai who express disgust over the killing of political activists namely Maula Bakhsh Dashti and Habib Jalib. Aslam Boledai had come from Baluchistan on a UK tour.

Members of Sindi community and other Baluch figures also spoke on the occasion. They mainly echoed Aslam Boledai’s point of view.

The demo was called by Baluchistan Human Rights Council -UK and World Sindi Congress.

NP’s Khaled Langav Survives Assasinaiton Attemp, His Younger Brother Killed

QUETTA: A younger brother of Mir Khalid Langove, a central leader of the National Party, was killed and three other members of the Langove tribe were injured in a deadly attack on the van of the Mir Khalid Langove on Saturday evening.

According to the details,Mir Khalid Langove and his younger brother were returning to Quetta after offering Fateha at the residence of Mir Najeeb Langove when they were attacked. Multiple bullets hit the car of Mr. Khalid but he remained safe. However, his younger brother Mir Ziab Langove was killed after several shots hit him.

Habib Jalib and Maula Bakhsh Dashti killing condemned

Islamabad. Baluchistan Students with civil society and political activists held a protest demonstration in front of National Press Club Islamabad on Wednesday to condemn the cold- blooded target killings of Habib Jalib Baluch and Maula baksh Dashti.

The Protesters while demonstration chanted slogans condemning the continuing assassination of the Baluch political workers and expressed their anger about the state's inability to provide the security to its citizens and even to prominent leaders who have fallen prey to targeted killings consistently over the last year in Baluchistan.

Addressing the gathering BSO leader Sami Baluch,and Walib Baluch said that despite the repeated promises made to the Baluch people by the current federal government ,the assassination, torture and abduction of Baluch political workers ,students and ordinary citizens has continued unabated.

The Baluchistan Students Organization (BSO) also demanded United Nations and other International human rights Organizations to take notice of such killings.

Clinton condemns 'horrific' mosque attack in Iran

"I condemn in the strongest possible terms today's terrorist attacks claimed by Jundallah that targeted Iranians at a mosque in the Sistan-Baluchestan province of Iran," Clinton said in a statement.

"The United States extends its sympathy to the families and loved ones of those injured and killed. We also call for the perpetrators of this horrific attack to be held accountable for their actions," she said.

Ban Ki-moon Strongly Condemns Bombings in Zahedan, Iran

The following statement was issued today by the Spokesperson for UN Secretary-General Ban Ki-moon:

The Secretary-General strongly condemns the suicide bombings in Zahedan, Iran, which have reportedly claimed the lives of scores of people and left many more injured. This senseless act of terrorism at a place of worship makes it all the more reprehensible.
